2006 Summer Sourcing Show – Hong Kong

Here are some pics from last week’s Summer Sourcing Show for Gifts, Toys and Household Products at Hong Kong Convention Centre. I wasn’t allowed to take any photos inside the exhibition due to the fact of its policy on spying. Even if I could, there wasn’t anything that I haven’t seen before. A lot of decent products but nothing really wow-ed me. As far as cool hunting goes, there was a lot of buzz over this doll that looks exactly similar to Barbie. Made little promotional booklets for my company. It was a shit load of work and I never want to deal with Xerox or paper ever again. Yes, the paper jam. I had to manual feed the paper (like 900 times?) into the tray each time. I should have just paid someone to do it. But I was really proud of how it all came together. Nothing like self-satisfaction. Oh, I made like 3 times the amount shown in the photo. HA
